I am in need of something WORTH reading. Not to metion getting a cheap mp3 that can at least fit 1gb of music in it. Oh, I'm not demanding for an Android or an iPod et cetera et cetera that rich kid could buy. Nope. I'm just asking for a cheap, cheap, cheap China-made garbage that can last at least a year.
I've read any and every good and interesting read in my house and the school library that I can find. And, though most of it was not my preferred genre of novels graphic or not, they were pretty awesome, I had to admit. 'The Wish List' was an interesting life story which revolves mainly around a lonely kid whose father was a junkie and a grumpy old man that can''t get out of his grief of his dead wife who died, like, 10 years ago. Their lives got a lot more complicated when the dad's gone to rehab (the kid thought he was off to America). Mike -the kid- accidentally kicked his football into the grumpy man's backyard which was also his neighbour. To get rid of Mike, grumpy told him that he was Santa so Mike should leave him alone to do his 'gift-wrapping'. I could go on and on, but naah... ON WITH IT!
'The Lock Artist" was about this teenager with a rare talent. He can crack safes. No, really, it could sound a bit stupid when I write this, but I can't put this book down since I started it. When he was a child aged 8, he was involved in an 'incident' which goes along the lines of his parents being shot by themselves, Mike ( a coincidence! ) locked inside a safe and thrown into a river. He was saved, of course, but since then, he's got communication problems. Like, serious communication problems such as finding it too hard to actually speak. He found out about his talent when his Uncle Lito smashed a padlock trying to open something. Amused by the mechanism, he took it and learned how the pins lock and unlock.
I've got a lot more to write here, but my mom's bugging me to take a bath.
NOTE : I AM NOT SMELLY!!
It's just her way of saying "GET OFF MY LAPTOP! CLEAN THE HOUSE AND LET ME PLAY MY ZUMA!!"
See ya
